Micah Temple

Honors business student at the University of Utah studying the quantitative analysis of markets and organizations.

I study QAMO at the Eccles School, an Honors program centered on econometrics, game theory, data science, and applied economics. What I actually enjoy is the part where a large, messy dataset turns into a model that answers a real question, whether that's grid-scale energy arbitrage or commercial fishing yields.

Right now I'm a Data Operations Intern at Maxwell Power and a Data Analytics Intern at the Community Action Partnership of Utah. Outside of work I fly fish Utah's rivers, play jazz piano and guitar, cook a lot, and lead a small group through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.
